Year 7, 8 and 9 National Tests

Dear Parent/Guardian,

All pupils in Year 7, 8 and 9 will sit National Tests during May 2016.  Mock tests were sat during December 2015, which pupils will go over in class with their English and Maths teachers prior to the tests. Pupils can also prepare for the tests at home by practising some past papers which can be accessed via this link ( or our school website by clicking ‘Brilliant Revision Resource’ located on the front page.

Please ensure your child brings the correct equipment for the tests:

Test Equipment required
Reading Black pen and ruler.
Numeracy (procedural) Black pen, pencil, eraser and ruler.
Numeracy (reasoning) Calculator, black pen, pencil, eraser and ruler.


N.B. Only clear pencil cases are permitted for the tests.
