TAC Team

The department consists of many members of staff that contribute to promoting pupil’s well being inside the school. If a pupil is upset or needs support in any way, then they can approach a member of staff in the TAC room, where they will assist them.

Rachel Thomas co-ordinates the department, and ensures all pupils can access support when needed. Emma Williams is also a member of the TAC team, and one of her main responsibilities is focusing on attendance, which is vitally important.

Progress managers monitor pupil progress in their individual year group.

We work with various outside agencies including The Exchange Counselling service, Family Group Conferencing and Storm.

PTA

The PTA is a number of parents who organise events every year to raise funds for equipment and resources for the school. The PTA meets on a Monday evening at 6pm once every term. We discuss events that we organise and run, for example school discos, production evenings, choir evenings and Christmas concerts on which we sell sweets and drinks and organise refreshments. We also discuss our views on what we think about school policies children’s reports, parents evenings etc.

We are always looking for new members so if anyone is interested and has some spare time then please contact the school to find out what the date of our next meeting.

The PTA would like to thank parents for your continued support over the year’s which is very much appreciated.
